A pavilion is a freestanding structure — not attached to any building. While our aluminum louvered systems can be configured as either wall-mounted pergolas or freestanding pavilions, pavilions use four or more posts to stand independently. They’re ideal for pool areas, outdoor kitchens, and entertaining spaces away from the house.
Our pavilions are custom manufactured to virtually any size. Single-unit spans reach up to 24’ in width. For larger installations, multiple units can be joined seamlessly to cover areas of 30’, 40’, or more. Every pavilion is engineered for its specific dimensions — no standard sizes, no compromises.
Pavilions require a solid mounting surface — typically a concrete pad, existing patio, or concrete footings. The posts are anchored using heavy-duty base plates and concrete anchors. For new installations, we provide foundation specifications. Many customers pour simple concrete footings, which a local contractor can do in a day.
Yes. Our aluminum pavilions are engineered for 200+ mph wind loads and 15,000+ lb snow loads (approximately 3 feet of snow). The 6063-T6 aluminum structure and dual-wall louvered roof provide commercial-grade weather resistance. PE-stamped engineering drawings are available for any US jurisdiction.
Popular uses include outdoor dining and entertaining, pool cabanas, outdoor kitchens and bars, hot tub enclosures, and garden retreats. The motorized louvered roof lets you switch from open-air to fully covered in seconds, making your pavilion usable in any weather. Many customers add lighting, fans, heaters, and audio.
Current projects are completing in 4–6 weeks from order. Your structure ships direct from our Noblesville plant in 1–3 days.
