Excellent experience with Luxury Pergola. We did extensive research on multiple companies. Their product is heavier then the others and from what we investigated the powder coating is superior. We even looked into the benefit of how their coating is applied. All of their products (except screws) are made in the USA which gave us more confidence in their products. When we had any questions regarding delivery or construction Patrick Hill from the company either answered or called us right back. Customer service was above & beyond proving it was not a big conglomerate corporation.

Assembly is straightforward but I absolutely recommend that you review the videos before tackling this so you know what you are getting into, and make sure you have all the tools and ladders on hand before you start. Ordering is easy, and the unit arrived on schedule. All extrusions are pre-cut and fit together perfectly. Two of us put this together in about 9 hours or so. A little over a year ago my wife and I decided to remodel our backyard and decided to incorporate a pergola. We knew we wanted a high quality product that would hold up well over time to the extreme weather (heat and wind) associated with Las Vegas Nevada. During our research we discovered The Luxury Pergola, however they did not offer the Haven Pergola at that time and the other options were outside of our budget. We decided to go with Hanso Home, and it was not a pleasant experience. Professionalism Embodied. These guys were fantastic to work with. I ordered the pergola before checking if I needed a permit (stupid I know). After ordering I went to my HOA and building department and they needed a TON of documentation. Engineering drawings, footing diagrams, etc. It was ridiculous. I reached out to The Luxury Pergola when this came up and they were a delight to work with. They were able to provide all the necessary documentation, including stamped engineering drawings for the pergola I purchased. The building department was blown away. The company reached out prior to delivery and let me know about when I would see the truck coming to my home. I also got a tracking link where I could see the truck traveling from their manufacturing plant in Indiana (yes, it is actually made and ships from Indiana) all the way to my home. The driver was courteous when unloading the truck was pretty simple. After installing, I can confidently say that there isn't a better option on the market. Had a great experience with The Luxury Pergola. Spent months researching various options and companies and came to the conclusion that this was the best company at a very reasonable price point compared to other companies with inferior products charging twice as much. The on-line videos and tutorials are helpful and entertaining. My main point of reference was Patrick Hill who was fantastic. He emailed and texted me regularly with updates and advice. His colleagues including Chase and Brendan were also very helpful. The kit is sold as a DIY structure so it does take some basic construction skills and at least 2-3 helpers. My advice quite frankly would be to hire some help. I hired a pergola installer locally in San Diego who was great and well worth the extra expense. I added lots of extra like a Kichler Breda 65" fan, Juno WF4 wafer lights on beam, Bose 251 speakers in the corners and 2 Infratech Slim Line heaters on the long rails. Took some extra time due to all of the extra electrical work/runs but in the end we couldn't be happier. Will try to speak to the company at some point about our experience to help others who are in the same position decide on similar extra accessories and options so they can plan ahead with their build in terms of electrical conduits. The unit itself is very well built and looks amazing. Thanks Patrick and team!!

We live by the coast of South Carolina and we had been looking for some type of open encloser to break the heat in the summer but allow the sun in through the winter months, We looked at regular Pergolas made out of Aluminum and vinyl, but they were not really the solution as they would not stop the rain as well. Once we started looking at louvered Pergolas, we really liked the design, and options of the Luxury Pergola Company vs their competitors. We called their offices and Patrick Hill walked us through everything that we needed. Because we are by the coast, he was able to give us our choices on Pergolas that would fit our wind requirements as well. I was initially a little weary of The Luxury Pergola -- a site with a ton of beautiful resources, high quality production videos, and a price point notably higher than all of the other pre fabricated, online order pergolas. I reached out to their team and ended up working with Patrick Hill from start to finish. Patrick always made it a point to take my calls and answer my questions all through out, and even work with me on things like pushing the delivery date back a few weeks when I was trying to find builders to install it for me in my backyard. For larger pergolas, you absolutely need at least two people, if not three to put it together. Pergola Type: 12x16 Pro with Center Beam and Electrical Control Kit Installation Experience The delivery process was smooth with clearly labeled boxes. The installation videos were incredibly helpful, and I was fortunate to receive all parts intact. However, a missing component was quickly replaced by the company. Patrick did a great job answering the questions we had. The pergola is exceptionally sturdy and well-constructed, exceeding expectations for durability. The included touch-up paint is a thoughtful addition. While I'm handy, this was a larger project than I've tackled before. The installation process went smoothly once I got the structure aligned. I did encounter a minor challenge with installing the center beam due to clamp size limitations. However we discovered a creative solution. We removed the bracked from one side of the beem and mounted it (loosly screwed), used a bit of WD40 and the beem slid right on, that allowed us to balance and finished mounting the beem.   Base collar: I don't plan on taking them off so I didn't want to worry about widning the channel (and we broke a couple of keys). So I used a bit of WD40 and was able to press the different sides together with my hands. Overall Impression Despite a small hiccup, I'm extremely satisfied with the pergola. It's a fantastic addition to my outdoor space. The product quality and customer support are top-notch. However a downloadable installation guide would have been beneficial for quick reference.

I absolutely love this pergola, and I've been happy with all aspects of my purchase. Kyle was very helpful and was able to answer my questions quickly and followed up with order updates promptly. The materials used are very high quality and I think the slightly textured powder coat finish is excellent. It doesn't produce any glare or reflections and is easy to clean. We had a tornado in our area with gusts over 80 MPH and as expected, no issues whatsoever with the pergola having the roof closed.

I ordered 2, different sized, pergolas based on the instructional videos provided at LP's website. It was easy to discern the strengths of the materials and the feasibility of erecting the pergolas as a DYI project. The design is well thought out. The construction procedure is straight forward and the video builds confidence that the DYI approach can be achieved by most who try. My wife and I (age 70) confidently built both pergolas with the assistance of a materials lift. The end results yielded a dignified and high-end look to our courtyard. The only tool I had to buy was a hammer drill.

Before I found "The Luxury Pergola", I had been researching "motorized louvered pergolas" for over 2 years because I wanted something besides a lanai or a screened in room for my outdoor living space here in Florida. I had even had quotes from two separate companies for building this exact same quality of pergola and both were absurdly expensive, way out of my price range so I had almost given up. Then I saw a YouTube video on all the different options in the market with comparisons. It was actually a pretty fair overview so I checked out their website. The Luxury Pergola Co. is family owned and made in the USA so when I spoke with Chase (my excellent rep) by phone, he answered all my questions and even set up an appt for me to go see one nearby that was already built. We have a very sunny patio in our backyard, umbrellas alone was not doing the trick. My husband and I decided that we need a 'structure' in order for the patio to be more usable, especially in the middle of summer. I did a ton or research, and yes, there are many products on the market. Some are of equal quality and grade as The Luxury Pergola but cost twice as much, others are more cost effective but simply not up to par on quality in my opinion. We made a decision to go with The Luxury Pergola for 3 reasons: Quality of the product, Value of the product, and it's made in the USA with a short lead time in comparison to others that come from overseas. As great of a product as you can have, one cannot say enough about 'front of the house' and customer experience. Our sales person was Patrick. Patrick walked me through the types of pergola that is best for our climate, sizes, as well as accessory options. He was very patient with Q&A, (I had lots of questions) sent along spec sheets, and other technical information (I am an architect and need to know how this product comes together). The ordering process was so easy and quick. Our pergola - yes there were 17 boxes - was delivered in 2 weeks as promised. The only caveat is you need to have 2 strong persons to help the driver unload the truck. We hired a local installer, who was also fantastic with his crew, the pergola was up within 3 days ( we had a rain delay one day). Thanks to Patrick again, who made himself available during installation when there were questions, he was responsive and quick to help with answers. The final verdict: We absolutely LOVE our pergola. The entire experience was painless and actually enjoyable.

First, I was very pleased that our pergola arrived within just a few weeks of order. Everything was very well packaged and everything was there. It's clear that there was attention to quality control in the preparation and shipment of our pergola, which is a custom size. There were more than enough screws, caulk and touch up paint. Customer service was excellent: Chase Bess was very responsive and supportive whenever I had a question. The first thing I asked for before starting assembly was a schematic drawing of the post layout. Chase provided that within a few hours and it proved to be invaluable. Having that allowed me to place the six posts for an 8x30 pergola PERFECTLY. I suggest you provide that for all your pergolas. I really like the structure of the posts; they are of high quality and very structurally sound. The biggest challenge was the placement of the 30' beams, composed of two 15 foots sections joined in the middle. Despite your claim in a video that the two sections can be joined and then put in place, that proved to be COMPLETELY UNTENABLE because the connection is just not sufficiently rigid. We ended up raising the two 15 foot sections separately, connecting them while resting on top of the middle post and then turning the assembly 90 degrees to fit into place. Also, while it's apparent once assembled it was not obvious at first that the 30 foot pergola is essentially a combination of two 15 foot pergolas, and that each should have its own gutter drainage point. The company has put a lot of effort into producing instructional videos, which are helpful. Nonetheless I think a printed "tip sheet" would be helpful as a ready reference that could provide things like the following: - a list of screws and where they are used - a drawing of the corner assemblies - pointer that on composite pergolas each section gets its own drainage point - schematic for post placement based on pergola size I am happy to recommend Luxury Pergola company and product.

I could not be more pleased. I am sitting under our 12x12 pergola as I write this review. We use it everyday. Patrick was a great help throughout the process. Answered so many questions. The pergola is extremely solid. And loos great on our deck. Will probably add a sunscreen in the future. Could not be more pleased.

When I started looking at Pergola's for my home there were so many to shop from. I then came across Luxury Pergola doing a Google search. There was no comparison that the others offered that could measure up to Luxury Pergola. The wind threshold, the snow load, etc. So I watched the video that was so well explained for installing. I then called and spoke to Brendon on one occasion and Chase on another occasion who gave me detailed info. So when it was time to call and make a purchase I spoke to Patrick Hill. Patrick helped me with choosing the right Pergola for my geographic area. I wanted to get the Magnum or at least the Luxury. Patrick said he would be happy to sell me the higher cost one but explained the difference in them between the 3. When it was done I purchased the Pro since the others would be for bad weather areas (hurricanes, tornadoes). Patrick did tell me that I could put deeper anchors in but that 3 inch were fine. He told me the brand of anchor and I purchased the 6 inch locally just so I would feel better myself. When it was time to deliver to me Patrick let me know when the truck was leaving and an ETA since I was their first stop. It was an easy unload by myself and the driver which only took 10 or 15 minutes. Then came the install. I hired some local contractors and although they watched the video on how to install both them and myself had a couple questions. So I called and texted Patrick during installation and he had the answer right away along with any suggestions. As the crew worked into the late afternoon Patrick was leaving work to go golfing and was still speaking to me on his way. Patrick then told me to call or text with any other questions and he would answer me while out on the golf course. Luckily I did not have any more questions and Patrick was able to enjoy himself. I can't say enough about the whole team at Luxury Pergola. But, Patrick was head and shoulders above any customer service experience that I have ever encountered. Thank you very much. Also, the contractors who installed the Pergola said that they have installed a bunch of Pergolas but this was the nicest and more sturdy than anything they have seen or installed.

We purchased the 12x16 pergula and it looks absolutely amazing! We feel very lucky to have found the Luxury Pergula. We appreciated the videos on YouTube and we thought this was the best way to see how to build this monster of a pergula. I cannot imagine putting it up with a written manual. This is the best decision we have made for our backyard - beautiful and made to last pergula. Also, they have the best customer service (shout out to Chase, who answered all of our questions and was there for us not only to help us choose the right size but also to help during the instalation and even after). Standing underneath our pergula as I am writing this review, I feel a sense of pride to say that we were able to put together something so sturdy and beautiful.

I was really impressed with the luxury pergola. We got the 12 x 16 build, and it looks impressive. It took us 3-4 days to finish, and the hardest part was getting the beams up, as it requires 3 people at least to set up. I really like how simple it was to install, and the video really tells you everything you need to know to set up efficiently. Patrick was our sales rep, and he was really helpful in answering any questions we had when we called. Overall, I would recommend this product to a friend, and although the price is high, I would say it’s more than worth if you’re looking for a quality product that will last for a long time.

Simply put, quality product made to last.coupled with great customer service. Chase was readily available for questions. And on the weekend, a call was promptly answered with the information I needed for problem resolution ( ie loose wire in the low voltage box). Very good I'm now 95% done and very impressed with the pergula. I'm old school and the you tube instructions do not impress me. Some paper instructions especially with the super setup would help alot.

The product is second to none when it comes to strength, sturdiness, and reliability. The wind and snow ratings are utterly believable when you see the material in person - it's aircraft-grade indeed. And it's heavy - better to go with a contractor in my personal opinion 2) INTEGRATED OPTIONS - The product delivers on the core promise, but could benefit from offering integrated lighting and screen options like some other companies do. Not every customer has strength and durability as the first driving factor in mind - some are looking for a one-stop shop. I get the DIY part, but if I got lighting and screen solved for as part of the pergola build itself instead of ordering from multiple places and working with multiple contractors, it would help reach a wider audience. 3) SOCIAL MEDIA / COMMUNITY - I feel a sense of pride in my purchase and this product, and I am sure others do too. A community page on Facebook could go a long way in doing 2 things: A) Get a lot of DIY questions answered by other members who are passionate about sharing their own experiences (e.g., What waterproof fan did you install on the center beam and how? Did you run wires inside the posts? How do you get a screen installed inside the posts when you have those 4 screws sticking out?) B) Reduce customer service overhead for the company because community members are already performing that job, which in turn helps direct resources towards sales, marketing, and outreach. I am very happy with my purchase, and I know the product will last a lifetime, just like its warranty. Again, a big shout-out to Patrick. He is the primary reason I have The Luxury Pergola now standing tall and magnificent in my backyard.

We purchased the 10'x20' Pergola and installed it a week ago. It was immediately put to the test with two consecutive days of very strong winds - strong enough that many people were still without power after the winds subsided. My entire house sounded like it might blow over. I frequently checked the pergola, which had the louvers closed, and it didn't budge during the strongest of gusts. I installed this pergola myself, with the help of a couple people. We were able to get the frame up and mounted in about 3 hours, and my wife and I installed the louvers in about another 3 hours after our help had left. I spent a little extra time custom cutting my posts and re-drilling the pilot holes to accommodate my patio's 3 inch grade over 20 ft. I installed directly on pavers with concrete footers beneath so I had to buy 6 inch concrete anchors instead of using the supplied 3 inch anchors. The customer service at Luxury Pergola is just as awesome as their product. Patrick was very helpful in answering my many technical questions or getting me in touch with someone who could answer my questions. He would even email/text me outside of their work hours. One thing I wished, prior to installing myself, was that they had a written manual to quickly reference screw sizes, parts, steps, etc. Perhaps there is one that I didn't find or ask for. I also wished they would have performed some installations on less than ideal surfaces - sloped surfaces, over pavers, possibly show how to custom cut, etc. However, it turned out perfect so I didn't really need it! Overall, awesome company and awesome product. We can't wait to get the sun shade screens when we can recover financially from all the work we have done on our house recently!

Luxury Pergola is very "customer oriented". When I first considered purchasing from them I had some questions and dialed their number they advertise on their website (I forgot it was Sunday) but to my surprise the owner picked up the phone and answered all my question and sent numerous videos for me to watch. After finalizing the size of the pergola (needed to wait until pool deck was poured to confirm available space) I ordered my pergola in October 2023, with a delivery date for mid February which corresponded with pool completion and fence installation. The delivery of the pergola was outstanding. My pergola came in 19 boxes, all well marked and extremely well packed. These boxes are not easy to move because of the weight and dimensions, two men minimum job. Reviewing the installation videos (numerous times) will make installing the pergola go as advertised. All the required items they recommend having on hand will be needed at some time during the install. If I had it to do over again, I wouldn't change a thing! Now for the not so good (which is not much). I ordered my pergola with two shade side. Knowing that, I did not order base trim because the shade side interferes with the base trim and you need to cut the trim pieces. Also when I ordered, if you did not select base trim, the post bases would come powder coated the same color of the pergola you ordered. Well sometime between ordering in October and delivery February Luxury Pergola made changes to their process. The post bases now come NOT powder coated and they have free base trim that covers the NOT powder coated area. But that trim STILL need to be cut or altered if you have shade sides! I wish Luxury Pergola would have let me know of the changes before delivery (only breakdown in communication) because I would have told the to keep their new base trim and ask them to powder coat my poll bases as advertised. SAFETY: As I mentioned above my pergola is by my pool. I have three grandchildren (10, 7 and 1) who will be in and around the pool and pergola. During my attempt to attach the free base trim, three of the pins sent broke during install. So I went back to videos showing how to install of trim and you will notice them having difficulty in getting it right. I attempted putting three base trims together, all came out looking awful and that is not my biggest grip, THE CORNERS ARE EXTREMELY SHAPE AND EVEN MADE CUT MAKES ON MY LEATHER WORK GLOVES! RECOMMENDATION: Rework base trim, not safe. Don't just sent it and say it free, let buyers decide what will work for them. The side were not delivered with the original order (I was not told this, just figured it out when I ran out of boxes). The sides came about three weeks later, again extremely well packed and straight forward install (watch video). I do woodworking and I am customizing 4 base trims that will be SAFE, won't interfere with sides, will allow drainage post to drain and allow for electrical post and wiring.
